How to layer up for Summer Entertaining

Chalky pink and dusty blue gingham textiles have just arrived in the workshop and we love them! The tablecloths, table runners and seat pads are proving to be super popular and we have loved styling them up.

Here's how we layered up to get the looks for the pink and blue gingham colour ways.

Starting with tablecloths we then added our rattan table mats and coasters to give the base and texture for the plain, stacked, dining plates, side plates and bowls. On top of the crockery we then placed the plain napkins to help give a contrast to the tablecloth backdrop.

Next, we added the recycled glasses and water jugs to add another dimension. The addition of the glass candlesticks compliments the glassware and the tapered dining candles tone in perfectly and add height to the table.

The St Eval terracotta candles were then dotted on the table on the blue colourway to add another texture, colour and beautiful scent alongside some our carefully selected ceramic serveware including jugs, bowls and platters for both the pink and blue tables.

Lastly, we positioned some vases of frothy white peonies, hydrangea and foliage to help give a fresh look and add some floral magic after placing seat cushions on the chairs to add some colour and comfort. Just perfect for summer entertaining!
