Shop small this Christmas

At Pod & Pip we are proud to source from small, local and British businesses to stock our shelves and absolutely love finding a small business gem. This Christmas we have some absolute crackers (excuse the pun), and the workshop is brimming with some wonderful products from some wonderful small business. Made with care, attention to detail and most of all passion, they are a pleasure to welcome into the workshop. 

So, without further a do, introducing some of our small business gems for Christmas.

Based near Sherbourne this creative small business produces these fun handpainted pieces for the festive season. We just adore the cherry robins and scrumptious Christmas puddings.

Chalke Valley Soaps - handmade and just a stones throw away, literally down the road, vegan friendly and plastic free soaps are a firm favourite at Christmas, and, being botanically inspired fit perfectly at Pod & Pip.

Clod & Pebble - a Scottish ceramic company have handmade delightful ceramic Christmas tree decorations for us, and we also have their wonderful huggable mugs, just add the hot chocolate bundles or a chocolate treat from one of our emerging, small batch making chocolate businesses that we stock such as these fun little hot chocolate spoons.

These are just a few of our small, local and British businesses, we haven't yet mentioned the wonderful Botanical Candle Company based in Shaftesbury, our gardening range from Niwaki, based just outside of Shaftesbury, or Creamore Mill making wooden gardening accessories, or Nutscene with their garden twine range, Alix Fauvel Cakesmith with her divine chocolate salami and hand painted Christmas cakes.
