Pod & Pip’s Mini Makeover

So while we were closed for the month of January we were busy behind the scenes not only planning, prepping and sourcing for the year ahead but giving the workshop and cafe a mini makeover. It's amazing what a lick of paint can do!

So what have we been up to? In the workshop, we painted the floor making it feel so much lighter, more cohesive and fresher. We also painted some of our key pieces of furniture and tables that we use to display our goodies on, again making them feel instantly smarter, refresher and lighter. We also sourced some new pieces of furniture from auctions and second-hand furniture shops, the dresser we found was meant to be and the settle perfect for displaying our cushions and throws! We've also moved some furniture around to mix it up a little and give a new view, including our huge table we dress.

The cafe also had a makeover with new shelves, and a table we found in the auction house as well as some comfy tub chairs and a lick of paint all round making it feel so much more cosy. We have so many questions about our paint colours,  we have kept it simple so the green we have used throughout Pod & Pip is Farrow & Ball Pigeon and the rest is Farrow & Ball Shadow White.

So with some carefully selected vintage pieces of furniture, a lick of paint and houseplants, throws and cushions to help accessorise, we have given ourselves a mini maker over, we hope this gives a little inspiration on how to give an instant refresh. Do pop in though for some ideas and see what we've been up to!
